Hi y'all, I’m Amy- native Austinite, mother of two, and the Owner/Operator of So Fetch Austin.
So Fetch began with what started as a small favor, a little bit of magic, and a whole lot of love.
After the passing of our 13-year-old rescue, Ollie, my family and I longed for her presence, but weren't quite ready for another fur-ever family member. When a friend needed a last-minute sitter, we were quickly re-introduced to the joy that animals bring to the home. The word spread about our family's pet staycations and one favor turned into two and then ten and then twenty! As a full-time mother of two, I was able to dedicate intimate attention to each dog who came to stay in our home and provide the kind of companionship and care pet owners have been searching for in a boarding option. My family and I truly loved opening our home and hearts to the dogs we hosted and their families, and it was clear that there was a need for the one-of-a-kind pet service we were providing. Alas, So Fetch was born! But as a lifelong dog lover and animal advocate, it wasn't enough to provide high-quality pet care- I also wanted to help provide for the Austin pet community. So Fetch is committed to donating a portion of our proceeds to Austin Pets Alive- every booking helps give back to our amazing dog city!

What started as a passion project grew so much, it was time to expand beyond just my home and family. It was clear that there was a need for other loving homes and families that could provide the same exceptional and individualized care my clients were seeking. In order to accommodate more fur families, I have welcomed another experienced and dedicated dog lover to the team! Whether you book with me or Lauren- you can have peace of mind knowing that the So Fetch standard is the absolute highest quality of in-home pet care. Together we have over a decade of dog-sitting experience and it is our joint commitment to provide the specialized care our clients seek. We look forward to continuing to grow our amazing community of dog lovers so we can connect more fur friends with the perfect home away from home, bonus family included.
